Claire became involved in mounted games in 2010 when her daughters were 9 and 5 and looking for something fun to do with their ponies. Little did she know then it would soon become a passion and full-time hobby for their family

Since starting mounted games they have travelled up and down the country competing at PPC junior level through to the England Team at Royal Windsor. They were also lucky enough to ride at Olympia and HOYS on 4 occasions, winning the Prince Philip Cup on 2 occasions. They have also competed at many MGA completions including Home Internationals.

During this time Claire joined the Pony Club committee and helped to run local mounted games shows, acting as secretary, judge, scorer and general organiser with the fantastic West Hants team . Claire has also been involved in fundraising and sponsorship for the HOYs teams.

Although her girls have now retired from competitive games, Claire still very much enjoys helping to run and organise shows and seeing new riders coming through and enjoying the sport as we do.
